Rufaro’s mantra: “Justice isn’t given. It’s built through action, accountability, and advocacy.”
Rufaro Chinoda
Director | Senior Support Coordinator | Lead Practitioner
As one of Incite’s co-founders, Rufaro is focused on building ethical, participant-first services, with a strong emphasis on equity, informed care, and community connection. She’s passionate about mental health, emotional resilience, and creating sustainable support systems for both clients and the team
With a background in chemical engineering and a master’s in environmental science, Rufaro brings a unique analytical skill set and flair for problem-solving to the disability and community services sector.
After migrating to Australia in 2016, Rufaro experienced systemic racial prejudice when navigating a challenging job market. This deepened her understanding of marginalisation and fuelled her motivation to become a voice for the most vulnerable people within society, ensuring they have access to the critical support they deserve.
Driven by relentless determination and empathy, she transitioned into support coordination, quickly becoming recognised for her integrity, cultural insight, and unwavering commitment to participants. Rufaro specialises in working with families from non-English speaking and immigrant communities, ensuring they not only access the NDIS but feel seen, heard, and respected in the process.
When supporting her participant’s needs, Rufaro’s tenacity knows no bounds. Motivated by a strong moral compass and her own experiences with hardship, she empowers participants and tackles setbacks head-on, delivering culturally respectful, high-quality support.
