Incite Collective has closed

As of 30 October 2026, Incite Collective has ceased operating. We no longer provide Support Coordination or any other services.

Why we made this decision

Closing Incite Collective was not an easy decision. It was one we were pushed toward.

The NDIS reforms passed by Parliament in August 2026 fundamentally change the Scheme. They change who gets in, how plans are built, and how much say participants have over their own supports. Support coordination as an independent, participant-led practice is being replaced by a commissioned model designed around system efficiency rather than people’s rights.

We believe this direction concentrates the market in favour of large providers and squeezes out small, community-based practices. These are the very practices that hold the most complex and hardest-to-serve participants. Years of frozen pricing and ever-growing administrative demands have already made support coordination close to unsustainable. The reforms remove the room that was left.

We were not willing to reshape our practice to fit a model that asks us to manage people on behalf of the system rather than stand alongside them. So, we chose to close well, on our own terms, with our values intact.

To the participants and families who trusted us with your plans, your goals and your stories: thank you. It has been a privilege to walk alongside you.

To the providers, allied health practitioners, advocates and colleagues we worked with thank you for your partnership, your persistence and your shared commitment to people’s rights to choice and control.

And to our team, whose practice was the heart of everything we did: thank you.

Many of our team continue this work in new places and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
