Pauline Schafer

Recovery Coach & Support Coordinator | Psychosocial Navigator

Pauline brings a unique blend of lived experience-informed practice, mental health support, and organisational leadership to her role as a Recovery Coach and Support Coordinator. With a strong background in psychosocial support and People & Culture leadership, she is passionate about helping individuals build meaningful, self-directed lives.

Pauline has extensive experience working alongside people navigating complex mental health challenges, supporting them to develop coping strategies, build independence, and connect with the right services. Her approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and trauma-informed practice, ensuring participants feel heard, respected, and empowered in every interaction.

Alongside her frontline support experience, Pauline has worked in senior HR and leadership roles, where she developed strengths in advocacy, problem-solving, and navigating complex systems. She is known for her warm, down-to-earth approach and her ability to build genuine, trusting relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.
