Margaret’s Mantra: “Supporting families with structure, compassion, and courage.”

Margaret Mcnaught

Level One Support Coordinator | Parent Mentor and Coach

With a diverse professional background spanning business management, public libraries, and community services, Margaret brings a wealth of knowledge and lived experience to her role at Incite Collective.

Motivated by her own lived experience supporting family members with disabilities, Margaret is passionate about helping participants and parents reduce the pressures of daily life. She specialises in scheduling, budgeting, planning, and creating practical tools and tailored data systems to simplify NDIS plans, particularly for families managing multiple participants.

Approachable, friendly, and unafraid to challenge systems when needed, she builds strong, supportive relationships with the people she works alongside. Whether mentoring parents, coordinating supports, or helping households manage complex arrangements, she is driven by a genuine commitment to making life easier and more sustainable for families.

Her career journey includes years as a national business manager in the FMCG sector, followed by extensive work in public libraries supporting both children and older adults. Alongside this, she has held varied roles in administration, training, and community engagement, each shaping her skill set in organisation, problem-solving, and people-focused service.

Outside of work, Margaret takes pride in creating a safe and nurturing home environment for her family. Her greatest personal achievement has been raising her daughter as a single parent. Professionally, she is proud of her track record in designing innovative systems, campaigns, and events that bring people together and deliver meaningful outcomes.
