Ellen’s mantra: “Hold space with strength.”
Ellen Nash
Support Coordinator | Psychosocial Recovery Navigator
Ellen is a seasoned and compassionate NDIS support coordinator with substantial experience in government service delivery and community-based support.
With a deep understanding of the NDIS and its complexities, she has worked extensively with vulnerable individuals, including people with disabilities, those experiencing psychosocial challenges, survivors of family violence, and members of remote Aboriginal communities.
Through her Commonwealth Employment Service, Ellen gained experience managing diverse caseloads and supporting people facing multiple barriers to participation and independence. She was a key figure during the federal transition to privatised employment services, helping to establish Employment National and delivering staff training, systems implementation, and case management for high-needs participants across Brisbane and regional Queensland.
Working in remote North Queensland, Ellen developed a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by rural and Aboriginal communities. Her outreach work was grounded in cultural sensitivity, trauma-informed practice, and a fierce commitment to equitable access. These values continue to guide her work in the NDIS space today.
As a support coordinator and former registered NDIS provider, she brings frontline experience in navigating funding streams, liaising with plan managers, LACs, and allied health teams, and pushing persistently for meaningful outcomes. Her work is person-centred, focused on capacity building, and informed by her own lived experiences.
